for those who are still living underneath a cave this past weekend, Russia and Georgia are duking it out Tom Clancy style after Georgia invaded its breakaway province of South Ossetia, which lies at the border between the two countries. The Georgian move killed several Russian dudes acting as peacekeepers in the region, causing a lot of cries of "For Mother Russia!" from Ivan.

what is interesting is that the West is keeping strangely mum about all this, with only a few halfhearted statements from America condemning Russia’s "dangerous and disproportionate" actions. well, that’s to be expected–Russia is a Security Council member, and its still a major world power with thermonuclear capability. you don’t dick around with such a big boy, like, say, with Iran and North Korea.

Bush, however, recently said that Russia’s attacks "will not go unanswered."

bring it on, baby! we might as well construct bunkers now and hoard some Pringles. the end of the world is nigh–4 years ahead of schedule!

no, this is not in honor of the recently-departed Heath Ledger, great actor though he was. and his performance on The Dark Knight was hands-down the best acting i’ve ever seen so far in his entire career.

i recently decided to revive this dying–well, dead would be more appropriate–Friendster blog, what with my apparent ineptitude on LiveJournal and Blogger. yes, i’m a fairly dumb person when it comes to blogging, so yeah, i’m really stoned.

very large updates on Tsubasa Reverse, guys. and i mean really, really large. i recently rewrote nearly 60% of the original idea to make it more compact and unified. it’s plodding along, yes. quite glacially in fact, but you can be sure i won’t discontinue it. that’s about having as much chance as my dick falling off–but wait, is that possible? okay maybe not that…

otherwise, this blog would serve as a big shoutbox. FS sucks whatever there is to suck–their shoutbox is too small it makes Jap dicks seem big. are there Jap guys here? none? okay. i’m safe.

so that’s about it. just a curtain raiser for the bored out folks still reading this crap. you can expect a lot of nonsense in the coming weeks or days, and here we go.

Y HALO THAR people of Friendster. It is I once again. I’ve redone the gaming/anime news blog seeing that I couldn’t maintain it properly, and instead opted to make a blog dedicated to my ramblings as I write the world of Tsubasa.

You may ask, "WTF IS TSUBASA?!" No, it’s not Tsubasa Chronicle. In fact, Tsubasa came from an Ichiraku Ramen play-by-post RPG, "Kibou no Tsubasa". I made the original story for that said game that was sadly discontinued, so to salvage what was left of it I made the story as a novel, and here it is. The Tsubasa stories are actually quite numerous, but the main story is called Tsubasa Reverse–the parallel world retelling of the RPG as it would have been if it had succeeded.

The post after this is the cast list of Tsubasa Reverse, as most of the characters in the story were characters made by the members of Ichiraku Ramen. In that post I will give credit to them, but insofar as the characters and their dealings in the story are concerned, they copyrighted to me.

So please stay with me, dear reader, as we embark on a journey across the World of Tsubasa, and hopefully to its quest of becoming a published fantasy novel or a manga.
